Rather than clear-cut job displacement, we are actually at the starting line of *mindset* displacement. The concept of the “traditional” 9-to-5 wasn’t even born until around 1926, during the Ford era — which means it’s younger than many living centenarians around the world today.
Here we are, after 100 years of being told to “study hard, get a good job.” What even is a good job anymore, you ask?
